THE YACHT- TITAN M |
|
Our yacht is a custom designed German Frers 43’ International open 40. She is equipped with kevlar and carbon race sails for the performance cruising class. Her carbon/kevlar composite hull was purpose built for the Admiral’s Cup (ex: Marloo II) by Cooksons in New Zealand. The yacht was sailed from Florida to Trinidad and received a thorough refit including new sails and running rigging. Her instrumentation – B&G race computer, chart plotter and safety gear – have all been upgraded or replaced with new equipment. Additions continue to be made to her sail inventory and deck hardware. Titan M was the Trinidad and Tobago Sailing Association Boat of the Year 05/06 (Spinnaker) Racer Cruiser class. Her crew captured BOTY 06/07. While fiercely competitive, our priorities are safety of the crew and enjoying the racing : safety, fun & VICTORY! |
